A popular diverse neighborhood church came to a realization, painful to their very conservative church council, that to truly live their mission and witness to a growing number of people turned off by a traditional “church”, they needed to welcome change–for themselves and for those people looking for something to believe in. We made advertising (or as they called it more acceptably for church-goers, “outreach”) that wasn’t preachy and made for a much shorter and powerful sermon. Amen to the results.
