A longtime area family, generous in action but humble about exposure, who had
developed Copper River Country Club as part of a larger real estate development felt
it was time to turn their vision over to management dedicated to running first-class clubs.
Because of the strong attachment the local community had to the family and the club, it was
important the transition be positioned as the passing of the torch to world-class operators
who would keep the family’s values intact. With the reassurance that the best was to
become even better, the resulting record retention and additions of new member
numbers became a real hole-in-one.
